Citizens Can Now Check the Latest Registered Voter List for 2022

PHNOM PENH: The National Election Committee (NEC) says that the public can now check the 2021 voter list as well as the 2022 list of registered voters and request corrections with commune authorities across the country from 10 October to 8 December 2022.

According to a press release issued by the NEC on Monday, 10 October 2022, the Capital and Provincial Election Secretariat is cooperating with the Commune / Sangkat Council to post the official final voter list for 2021 and a list of polling station locations at Commune / Sangkat halls and other locations in all 1,652 Communes / Sangkats.

According to the statement, the purpose of posting the latest voter list and the list of the polling stations is to allow voters who have already registered to check and verify their data in the voter list and know the location of the polling and voting office they must go to next year.

The NEC stated that if the data in the last voter list is not recorded correctly according to the Khmer Nationality ID card used at the time of previous voter registration, the applicant can request corrections with the voter registration team during the examination of the voter list, which will take place from 20 October to 8 December 2022.

The NEC posted the latest voter list and the list of the polling station and polling station locations on their website www.nec.gov.kh as well as on the NEC mobile app.
